About Us

TOFT India Wildlife Association

Tourism that protects the wild

A collective working to ensure India’s wildlife, wild lands and local communities thrive through responsible tourism.

A shared commitment to conservation

TOFT India Wildlife Association — Travel Operators for Tigers — brings together responsible wildlife travel operators, naturalists, lodge owners, hoteliers and conservation advocates.

Established in 2004, TOFT India pioneered the concept of conservation through tourism in South Asia. What began as a small campaign has grown into a nationwide movement, working closely with governments, park authorities, tourism professionals and local communities to promote responsible wildlife tourism that delivers real conservation and livelihood outcomes.
